Is there a -"TOO OFTEN" when doing SEO?

Hi guys you should know better than I do weather it's a good idea or not to do the ping,submitt RSS,microblog and bookmarks work too often I mean how often is actually too often? and weather I should do it for all the url's/only the targeted by keywords/none ecxept the homepage?
I do post every other day and I'm been doing it for a week know....

Yeah, dont check your ranking TOO OFTEN or you will get addicted and depress when you see a little drop.

Check your ranking maximum once a day.
