organic means you grow your instagram manually. post , likes and follow manually without using any bots.
replying on topic,
i think one of the reason the engagement drop is mass account banning.
i have 70k followers and 3k's banned from IG. (they are on adult niche)
and the queen of adult niche of my country followers dropped from 2,6M to 2,4M.

So is that ban permanent? I'm running a gaming meme page, i don't post anything that violates TOS.
If it is banned forever, should i just dump the page or sell it? Cause i can't really do antyhing with it, it's not as active.

my ban? yes permanent. several shadowban but i keep going after 1-2 week rest.
for your gaming meme, i don't think it will be banned.
but you must be careful when you post links in your bio since they will ask phone verification.
and...
if your IG banned, you can not login with it.
