It depends on the niche too, but generally yes, it is still worth it.
Social media is one of the most effective places, you just need to know how use it - like every tool
yes, yes it is.
effective in what? increasing sales? increasing brand awareness? increase google ranking? depending on your objective, answers are different
also, it depends on niche as well and user intention. so it would help if you could clarify your question a bit so that you could get better responses.
Yes. It's probably the most cost effective tool in marketing in 2019. Insane reach with low costs.
Yes definitely it's working but it depends on your niches. There are different platform for different niches.
Yeah, machine learning can predict even which posts you'll like Thanks for your advice!
Due to the low reach, traffic got worse too. That is not the way how it used to be before.
Answers have already helped, going to use paid promotion for some time.
Yes,Social Media is still Effective
Social media like every method will always be effective until a lot of people use it, you just need to adjust methods every once in a while
There’s still many effective things you can do with social media:
-influencer sponsored posts
-blackhat CPA spam
-your own social proof
In my opinion social media can give better results than SEO if done well.
i went to your business website and read about your offering. You have more experience in social media than 90% of the people here who just provide guesses. it would help if you could come back in future and let us know how it went using paid promotions vs. social media.
my gut feeling tells me that for B2B, you need paid promotion a lot more than social media. It seems social media is becoming more of a brand awareness tool vs pushing customer down the sales funnel and converting them.
Paid ads work pretty well, although you need to test and get the right targetting.
Really I quit to work with Facebook. There is no potential. Facebook will die in few years. It is a niche of poor guys from Africa and Asia. If you own a business, then quit to use facebook.
For Facebook specifically, spending a few dollars is probably a good idea. Organic has gotten around 100 times harder than 5 years ago. At the same time, those targeting and demographic tools can go a long way for ridiculously low amounts.
Don't quit organic altogether, but start learning and experimenting with ads. You can't get anywhere without it.
Facebook, Twitter, Vimeo, LinkedIn, Instagram and Snapchat (the list goes on and on) are ever increasing in popularity. They have become natural forums for people to share opinions, information and ideas. More and more, Social media channels might be the main (or even the only) place where people are interacting with brands.
They also have the potential to reach further than any offline channel. As a result, these platforms have become the number one choice for savvy marketeers. They are the perfect tools to engage with stakeholders, increase brand awareness, drive traffic to a website and generate a buzz around your business.

Yes, it works, but a don't like using facebook for that purpose
Social media is still the future of marketing, so yes it is still effective
