So, I asked you and xCharged numerous times, if this couldn't be because you hit explore page - Do you now agree or not? I think that sounds most likely - It would be weird to me, if the people in your niche should be so much different than to mine, I mean the behavior as to look at the top post on a hashtag and decide to follow that account, it should be simply to reproduce for any niche. What is not simple to reproduce even for yourself is to get on the explore tab.

I've some times forgotten to add tags and still received my average amount of likes, sometimes even more, so I agree on this. And this is also the reason why I know I don't gain anything from the tags. I mainly use the tags now as some sort of quick tool to see how my post do in general, with the account growing, it should be able to enter the top of the tags more easily and consistently, which is also what I see.

Agreed, that's what I do with the tags as well.

And ofcourse, even when the impact from tags are not that big, beginners should still use them. A little bit free exposure is still exposure.

Using top hashtags will surely help if your hashtag is your niche specified and your tagging posts will be loved by the users then there are more possibility to gain the followers.
