Hey, is it possible to go on a website like Facebook for instance and completely duplicate it? I'm not talking about Facebook specifically though, it's something much simpler. How much would something like this cost if I got someone to do it?

Don't copy a design or an artist's work exactly as it is, make the needed or advanced changes on it. Else It'll be a copyright violation.
 
Of course it's possible, I rip certain sites/pages all the time.
 
Yes, it is possible. But usually better to create something unique or add extra functionality
As for cost that will vary depending on the website and the method used.
If simple cloning of a static html site then shouldn't be expensive but if it is a dynamic site then it will be more complicated and might need to be built from the ground up.
 
You shouldn’t be copying other people’s work, however to answer your question it is possible to copy a site visually.

If you want to copy all of sites functionality this wouldn’t be possible as these files are stored on the server rather than client side. Popular websites such as Facebook have scripts available online.

Yes it is possible but if you copy as it is then you might get in trouble.
 
You can download the whole website as HTML, but it will be very difficult to modify something or reapply design/css files to your own site
