Is Escort website mandatory offshore? [ SEO ]

Hello there,

I have an idea to start an escort website, I need your good experiences,
I wonder if all active escort websites in my chosen country use offshore hosting


  • Do I have to use offshore hosting? Can this be ignored if I don't use it? does luck matter or will it shut down hosting for sure
  • When buying hosting, is it essential for SEO that I get hosting in the country location where the website will server? (because I couldn't find it in that location)

Its preferible to have the hosting in somewhere where escorting is legal (UK) for example.

If you are targeting all the world, use cloudflare so can be accesible faster from anywhere in the world.

The best recommendation for you is that if you are targeting a specific country then use their domain (.co.uk for example for the uk), this helps A LOT for SEO and might be what makes the difference.

Anyway, you are joining to a niche that is EXTREMELLY HARD to rank in, most of the escort websites have more than 10 years domains and are very good stablished.

It will take a lot of time but if you manage to rank your website you might take a lot of profits.

Another recommendation is not taking a comission from the escorts you are promoting, in the most of the countries of the world this is illegal so be sure you are doing right and inform about it.

I would love you hear what you have in mind since i've been working in this niche before, maybe we could exchange valuable info

As long as you host your website on a server located where escort services are legal, I don't think there is a problem. But if the place of your server is far away from your target country, you will have to use a CDN to make sure that the website loads fast in your target country (as mentioned before, cloudflare might be a good solution because it's free)

It may not be that simple, in some countries Escorts and Prostitution is legal, but buying them is illegal. Then you have illegality with helping an Escort by advertising her/him on a website since you are now the "hookup" of escort and clients it is illegal too in some countries. It is a mess of laws, better host it in some country that is really blackhat when it comes to illegal stuff. And no, I do not have any country to recommend.
 
I have pretty good expertise in escort websites and their SEO as I have done more then 50 escort projects. According to my previous experience, you will not face any legal issues while operating an escort website unless and until you are arrested on the spot (depending on the laws of that country). In most cases, the government only banned domain names. If you are still worried about hosting, then you must use "Hetzner servers " which are used by most porn sites all over the world.

You can check that from residential IPs. There are 2 ways to check that - using a residential proxy or asking somone from the locals to help.

It depends, if a country allows such websites within their laws, yes. I also have one of my own and laws here dont make sense for most parts so in this case hosting provider has to be somewhere else where they allow such websites to function without any law problems etc. It can be tricky but it’s possible to make it work.

Off shore of course but I would not say anonymous. There is only one escort website that works completely ano that escorts trust to actually send their money for priority ad and even they are shady.

Incorrect. You are legally protected as long as you take down the copyrighted content and nothing can come out of it.

This is not something that should be prioritized because it is not a problem in the first place. You will just end up paying premium for something that wont ever cause trouble.

most hosting providers will take your website/platform offline directly when contacted because they are afraid of the US justice (many doeas also in the ToC not support adult content). With DMCA the requests are ignored.

But yeah everyone has to make his own experiences in life... go ahead with no dmca hosting of escort girl content if its not a problem or you are living in a country like RU which give a sh** what the US gov sai...
 
actually you do not need an offshore host for a good escort website, and also getting a hosting near to your target audience country can always help with the ping rate and a bit faster loading of website, but with so many CDN and other factors involved, it does not matter that much, so i would recommend you to get a good speedy reliable web host rather than a bad host near to your target country and later use any CDN like cloudflare with it.
