Is Amazon Kindle Dead?

I have searched around and I am wondering if anyone here knows a definitive answer to this question? People all seem to be confused by it so if anyone is still doing kindle then would you be willing to talk to me directly about what exactly you make from it?

It's not dead if your revenue strategy is to actually SELL books instead of getting BORROWS.

The old BORROW strategy made tons of people lots of money but Amazon killed it.

amazon is not dead because one of my friend make use of it everyday
