    Here is a simple guide on how you can get targeted visitors from google images.

    Works wonders for me and it should be easy for you to implement it also with great results, so lets keep this stupid simple here...

    Before we get our traffic from google images we obviously need a good ranking for our pics.
    There are many tutorials but since i got your attention right now lets get us quickly trough the basics...

    There are some rules when we want our pics on top and especially beeing on the first 4 spots. When we gain these spots our pic will also be included in the regular seaches and therefore we get WAY MORE traffic.

    Here is how i do it.

    1- Make a directory on the domain that includes the main keyword. Lets say if we target for "cheap invicta watches" we create a "cheap-invicta-watches" directory.
    Its also important that we give our pics the related names like "cheapinvictawatches1.jpg" and so on.

    2- Now we need to add ALT and TITLE atributes to the pics in the code of the site.
    When you are working on the WP platform you should install a plugin called "SEO friendly images". It automatically does that for you when you follow the instructions.
    The last half a year i pretty much outrank any competition upto 50k exacts easely with css templates so here are lines of code for those:

    <img src="http://mycheapinvictawatches.c0m/cheap-invicta-watches/cheapinvictawatches1.jpg" alt="cheap invicta watches" title="cheap invicta watch" />

    3- Be sure to use the keyword in the text around the picture.
    Now we have our page or article optimized for the image. Google will crawl it and gives it a ranking. Just like the normal rankings its a up and down game but i always help if your site is a authority ofcourse.

    Here comes the catch.

    Since google images are using iframes for their display of the pics we are going to use a break out of iframe script or plugin.

    When someone clicks on the picture they will be automatically be transferred to your site or post :)

    So how are we going to do that? Simple...

    If you are using wordpress you should install a plugin called "Break out of frames" and if we have a html site just place this code on top of your pages:

    <script type="text/javascript">
    if (top.location!= self.location) {
    top.location = self.location.href

    If you push these posts or pages like you normally do i guarantee you that it works. Especially when you have a niche were people usually look for pics on google images like household articles etc. etc. think amazon for an example.

    I have been doing this for a long time and it gives me shitloads of traffic and does NOT give you any problems in the rankings.

    Cant remember if it was already shared, if so im sorry and if not good luck!
