Instagram signup

Hey,Is is possible to create a "sign up with instagram" on a website?for example, people would be able to sign up to a particular website using their instagram accounts and it automatically posts an image on their instagram which says "Hey, I am using xxxxxxx - Join me"My friend is working on a website and he has successfully added fb login but couldn't create a twitter login. Now I am curious if instagram login is really possible. Secondly do you think that it would be effective to add an instagram login (since we are talking about a website)

Yes I believe so. Instagram API does have oAuth Authentication. You can sign into Websta and Iconosquare with Instagram for example.

Thanks man. Also could you tell me about that auto image posting thing?

The auto image posting thing I'm not sure about. I don't think you can post images to instagram via the api.
