Why is it that whenever I try to scrape from a hashtag it only scrapes like 100-200 profiles and then logs me out? I know Instagram has limits but how do I pass that?
I've been using the tool called Growman for IG scraping and it doesnt seem to be good, what should I use?

Do you need to add Instagram accounts when you use Growman? If so, how many accounts? The account used for scraping most likely gets scrape block. That's why you have that issue. I use a tool called SuSocial for scraping, it needs more than one account for scraping. The more accounts I add to the tool, the more results I will get.
 
With hashtags there are problem cuz you have to be logged in to scrape it unless you do it through copying url of pictures and then it get the username from there (doable) but if you want to scrape the usernames without any limitations you can scrape any amount of following/follower list without any problems.

No, on growman it just scrapes from the account you're logged in you cant add more accounts and yeah I think this is the problem

This seems like too much of a hassle, do you know any other tools for scraping from hashtags cause I need that mostly
 
are you scraping for usernames to prospect / outreach? or for usernames to use as automation targets? Generally, scraping hashtags doesn't work well for sourcing targets / users to targets...

Make a custom tool, but these days even if you use IG API there are still issues with scraping full results. But custom private tools always work the best which are not publically abused.

These past monthly IG hide the recent posts section for hashtags only the top posts are visible. Are you getting these 100 profiles from the top posts?

That is the way to go.
Can we still scrape the users from the recent posts from hashtags though or are we only able to get the post posts?
IG hide the recent posts.

They do not want you to scrape them, to combat this, use account chaining.
 
Your bot is on Python built? If yes, i bypassed that . I'm not going to talk about more because there are people who don't have good intentions, but if you're a developer, I want to help you, try to understand this, what do you do when you don't want them to detect your bot, you use VPN, Proxy, residential IP or YOUR own cookies (think about it)

You can try out Instagram scraper from Autopostingtools.
 
Scrapping profiles & scrapping followers it’s possible! Just, don’t use recently created accounts .
 
I would suggest to build your own scraper instead of using those tools online. The best tools that were available, were grow me organic and Jarvee, anything other than that is trash in my opionion. I say this cus i tried every possible solution and managed to scrape over 120 million data

Accounts usually die at 1k scrapped users in a short time and at that point you have to add proxies/automation etc
 
Hey friend, you basically have 3 options:

  1. Use at least a few hundred/thousand scrapers with proxies, and they will do this "hard" work for you with extractable tools as well.
  2. Use ready-made tools.
  3. Pay a VA to do it all for you.
 
What thing you all are talking about scraping? The content you scraped what is its purpose or generally how is it used ? I am a newbie can someone explain?
