So i followed like 400k people on instagram and then instagram made it so i cant follow anymore people like it doesnt let me i am in the process of unfollowing them all i am already down to only following 200k people and i still cant follow people! If i unfollow all the way down to 0 will i be able to follow people again?

this is so off topic but you do sfs with a lot of my friends, will u do it with me? i have 79.6k lololol is so kik peter_valente
 
Give it a try and find out, they might have some new mechanism in place that indicates your spam, open another account and see how you get on with that. Let us know if you get the answer though, it will be helpful to many
 
Same thing happened to me, it works again after 24 hours
 
I am using instaget bot, unfollowing like 15k a day. Ahh so you're saying I won't actually be able to unfollow all the way to zero?? Is there anyway to cancel pending follow requests?
 
thats super weird

and now my one account says i follow 30+

but only following 2

that might be a near future fix for instagram, i would guess, no?
 
I've experienced the same problem when unfollowing. Two of my accounts say I am following a small number of users but when you click the following list it is empty.

I also had an account that showed -1 in the following list, I left the account untouched as I thought it was pretty cool but it reverted back to 0 after a few days.

Anyone know the reasons for the above?
 
I think it will be a long time before you can follow people again , when I follow 7500 people then unfollow them all it wont let me follow anyone for like a few days so if you unfollow 400,000 people it may be a while before you can follow again. also if you have any accounts following over 7500 that can still follow msg me.
 
they are constantly adjusting their parameters on how many you can follow or how many comments you can make in a row. As far as I know 200k was the new limit on follows. There are then a bunch of complaints and they change up the rules. In the beginning there were people following over 1 million
 
All you can do is unfollow them all and see what happens.
