Instagram lead generation journey

Hi, there!
Quick introduction, I found this forum a few months ago and it's been very very useful so far. I have been looking at different methods but it's taken me a while until I found one that I had the time to do. I might reveal the details later, but let's just say I'm trying to generate leads on Instagram via DMs and maybe more sources in the future.

I wanted to create this journey for some external accountability, to share any insights I might come across and to learn of course.

Basically I will be reaching out to people by filtering accounts based on certain factors while offering a service and/or product . First I will have to prepare a scraped list of the accounts that's ready to use or dynamically make it on the go(either automated or manually). I think I'm going to go with the first option. After that a few accounts sending up to 20 DMs a day should do the trick. I will report back on the conversion rates. I have gotten a few replies already but no sales yet. If you have any suggestions, do reply!

Not long. Maybe almost a week

Many people share emails and phones on instagram, they expect to be contacted in case people want to buy mentions or make a deal with them based on the niche they are in.
Cold emailing them with a personalized message is not a bad idea since many people do that. I'm not sure about messaging them on instagram, do they need to follow you back?

You're right Dreadpixel, emails and phone calls are also an option. That would be great to do, but how?
DMs are simple to send. You just match the profile, leave a like and send it. But there are limitations like the number you can send in a day and how fast you can do it. That does suck a bit.
Emails and phone numbers, I don't know how you would scrape those. Not everyone has them listed either. I don't have Jarvee, but I can get a free trial, but I do know how to use Instabot.py which is open-source. Do you know of a way?
Also I've been thinking about bandwidth. If I decide to do everything manually, that would involve going through pictures which do deplete bandwidth. BTW I'm using a 4G proxy for the accounts.

So, currently I am trying to automate the process of finding suitable accounts and then scraping their usernames and email/phone number. If it contains a phone number/email then that is OK to use, otherwise follow and send a DM.

Apparently few scrapers have that feature (Dreadpixel showed me one), I'll have to find a way around that. Once you have the data, it's easy to send the message.

I'm probably going to use Instabot.py since you can write scripts with it which is quite suitable for this scenario.

I also think I'm making this too complicated, trying to get it absolutely efficient would be great but it would take a lot of time. I should simplify a bit. If you have suggestions, do reply!

OK, I've realized there are too many restrictions here.
One is bandwidth since I'm doing it over 4G and doing all of this manually would suck too much data because of the IG photos.
Second, Scraping it isn't that easy but I'm going to write an Instabot.py script, scrape a few hundred accounts that match the criteria and then I can either just send the DM manually or automate that too.
That's what I have to get done right now. Let's do this!

I have managed to write a script using Instagrambot.py that handles the liking, following and DM sending. That's made it a bit easier but it's still not perfect.
I've realized that you need quite a few accounts to send a significant number of DMs. My account limit seems to be around 20 DMs before "feedback required" My goal was to send >=100 DMs. Due to various restrictions I've only managed to send ~60 so far. Also my current goal is $10/day.

What other activities are you doing on the accounts? Is it only sending DM's? I'm not sure but it may look suspicious if the account only sends DM's.
