Hello, recently I traded my instagram account for an account which can follow more than the limit (7500). I tried to follow people and it did not let me, the image is of my account, its following 769k and wont let me follow anymore. any help would be much appreciated, thanks.

The question is, why would you want to follow more people? Aren't you going to unfollow them anyway?

PS: I never knew you could more than 7500 people on Instagram.

nope I wasn't thinking about unfollowing anyone on that account because there is no point. I "apparently" can follow an unlimited amount of accounts, so then I can gain more followers.

Whaaaaaaaaat the whaaaaat

The guy maybe hacked and put that number somehow, 1st time I see something like this

Can you unfollow people?

All of the people above are wrong, in the beginning days of Instagram you could follow unlimited amounts of people, as this account has. It is not uncommon, actually a lot of accounts have this from '10-'11. They usually have 100k followers with x2.5-5 amount of following, this ones pretty decent. I don't think the people on it will engage though.. Good luck :)

so does this mean I cannot follow anyone else until I can get under the limit (7500)

You got it. I don't know of anyone with over 7.5k followings that can follow new people. So, just keep as is, or start unfollowing.
Sorry if you got duped into buying this account believing you could follow an unlimited number.

luckily I didn't, I traded for my other account which only have 27k followers

Have you tried unfollowing some people before you start following again?

yeah I unfollowed people using followliker for a day and then tried to follow people again and it still didn't work, should I try again?

ok thanks :) I will try that

what do you mean?

Don't follow massively. That could get you on Instagram's radar. Start slowly. The account probably wasn't unfollowing before. Starting off with a rush, may not be a good idea.
Start at about 600-800 per day with long delays.

Then after 1 week, increase by 200-300 and so on until you reach about 1900 unfollows daily. Anything over that may trigger Instagrams algorithm, which you don't want.

Additionally, delete the photo showing your IG account. If anyone needs it, you can PM them the name. IG may have lurkers in here and that could get your IG account blacklisted or deleted for any number of excuses from Instagram.

okay, thank you! :)

theres only so many people you can unfollow at a time - IG will suspend the account if you hit to many at once.

I've waited 3 days and its still not letting me follow people :/
