Instagram Artist [Advice]

I am some what new to this, but have been around in the IM scene for a bit trying out different ventures. I have always believed the 80/20 rule where as 80 % of your success comes from marketing while 20 is from content. Since I do create original artworks, I don't have the luxury of posting 2-3 daily. I believe with the right marketing and good content, the sky is the limit. I have had people ask to buy some pieces but I want to build a following first. If anyone wants to collaborate or can offer any bit of advice, I'm all ears!

This. Also for advice, this forum/subsection is full of it.
every thread/method here can pretty much be broken down into the following steps:

1. Get quality traffic (in IG, this would be as many as possible engaged followers)
2. Find something that converts well (CPA, shoutouts, brand advertising, your artwork etc.)
3. Monetize (set everything up and bring home the bacon)
4. Tweak and scale (improve conversion ratios etc. And scale everything that works.)

All the methods here are basically detailed variants of these steps.

True that, content is the king! But it does need the right marketing to get viral.
There are quite a few strategies shared over here on the forum which you can look for and work on to promote yourself on Instagram. The recently introduced 'Advertising' option on Instagram has proven to be working really well for some marketers so maybe have a look at it.

And then there are different tools and creative services in the BHW Marketplace which provide you real looking followers which are highly active and make you look popular so you can try them out too!

On instagram content is King. If your content is good, the followers will not stay away. The rest is either allot of work ( do everything manually ) or get a bot to do it for you. Identify your niche, find similar pages and get their followers. The beginning of an Instagram page is always hard, get through the hard part and followers will come naturally.
