Hello BHW,

Still a noob in this community so please excuse my silly question if it is one...

Story:

I created an very niche inspirational Instagram page and started making posts to attract the specific type of followers. In about a month of doing so I got to around 300-400 followers. Unfortunately, I couldn't keep up to my schedule of posting an image 2-3 times a day. So here I am with a potential filled Instagram account and am looking for a way to rejuvenate it with automation.

When I started I created 20+ posts to essentially just run off of each week. After a while, school started back up and I suddenly didn't have the time to search and edit all of my posts in a way that worked.

Today:

I have some more time to create some posts again but I am looking to see if there is a way to automate the entire process of creating my posts. All they are is a stock photo from Pixabay and an inspirational quote from the Internet. From a Photoshop perspective it is a really simple 4 layer file with the image, a text layer, a vignette, and a fancy shape to give inspirational vibes. The only things that change are the image, and text. Everything else is the same and I believe that it could be automated.

I Googled for some answers but it seems the Photoshop Actions are the closest that I can find as an answer. I wanted to see if anyone here knows what I am talking about or could provide some guidance on the matter.

Thank You All and Have a Great Day!

Edit:
Thanks to mynameisfrankenstein, I was able to get going on this pretty quick, I will post here if I figure out anything reasonable.
(Didn't know that wget was such an amazing program!)

wget to download images and quotes
imagemagick to edit text onto them, and to add color filters
imacros to upload to instagram (if you can upload from browser, not sure)

You'd probably spend more time automating your photo creation process than if you just manually did them :D

I will definitely look into these tools. I hadn't found these in my research, Thank You!

It seems like that may be the case  but its alright, I have some time on my hands and can at least give it a shot!;)

Serious question - Why does your content need to be original? What if you regram posts? I did this for some time and got a lot of responses and followers.

You are right, I really don't need to but since I started and already established a style (100+ posts already) I decided it would be best to keep going with that method. However, if it becomes worse then I might go with what you suggested.
