for the past couple of months I have been sleeping very badly, sleeping late like 10 AM / 1 AM.

I know that there are a lot of things on my mind, my brain doesn't stop working...

Any suggestions on how i can resolve this issue ?

You should visit doctor. It would be much better than asking here, trust me. You need medical help.

if its that bad, go to the doctor, or just try to regulate your sleep the disciplined way

Go and see your doctor, that's the best advice you'll get on this forum. You can research sleeping patterns etc, that'll give you a much better understanding of how your mind/body needs to rest, how you can improve you quality of sleep etc.

Liquid calcium. Drink a few tablespoons a half hour before you want to sleep and go lie down. You'll fall asleep fast and stay asleep all night.

I also count backwards from 300 by threes (300... 297... 294... 291... zzzzzzzzz).

Don't get on meds. They're addictive and have crazy side effects. If you want to try meds try melatonin first. It takes a few weeks to work but it sets your system right long term. This in conjunction with the liquid calcium will get you the best results.

I have this problem too .
I can't get out of my mind what i will do next on my website, what to do tomorow , and etc.

Try hypnosis.. Youtube has a lot of great videos for sleep hypnosis. If you wanna use meds, then go for melathonine..

Seems this is quite common in this field of work. I go to bed around 5-7am and wake up at 2-3pm everyday. I get lots of work done, but I'm completely missing the day. Most of the time it's too late for me to even go out to some stores once I get up, have breakfast, check my work shit for a bit and boom it's already 5-6pm and starting to get dark.

Even when I get back on a normal schedule going to bed around 12-2am and waking up before noon I still manage to find a way to ruin it all in one night. I will be working on something and I'm the type that can't get up and leave it until it's done. So around comes 6am again and here I am sitting thinking to myself wtf?

Same thing happens to me. One night ruins it all

seriously - try smoking a bit of weed.

It may be illegal but it's better than the crap a doctor will prescribe.

If you take their pills you'll be on here next asking "how do I get up and motivated in the mornings - I feel so dull and cloudy" or something along those lines.
