.info domain is good or bad for seo ?

I prefer .com domains, and I think for SEO it's best to go with a top TLD such as: .com, .org, .net
Unless the other TLD is more suited. I don't think .info fits very well for a CCTV selling website unless your main purpose is to provide people with info?

There is zero baring on a TLD and seo rankings, in this type of scenario.
I have .orgs and also .info that outrank .coms

i dont want to sell anything directly
what i want to do is creating a website about cctv , i want to review cameras and answer common questions but dont sell anything
i want put my phone numbers in header and widgets and cusomers call me
so bro what you thinkg about com vs .info
A .com has the perceived impression of being a safe website, an authority site etc but more importantly, it is a global TLD.
If the .com is available, that would be my first choice for the brandability, not for any seo reason.

i checked that domain .info and .com was in access
.info was 7$ .com was 15$
just wanted to choose .info but first i wanted to get advise of people in BHW

it doesnt make a difference for SEO what you are using, .info, .com, .net, its whatever, its all about the trust that people get, they are obviously more inclined on clicking a .com or .org then a .xyz for example.

- .com is king for commercial purposes, as well when people think of sites, they think of a .com domain.
- .net is the one people used to register if .com was taken.
- .org is amazing for organizations, non-profits and for sites for a good cause.
- .info is an odd one out that might get their price increased soon due to ICANN dropping their limits.
Now is it good for SEO? Search engines do not care for the extension, but care for the content, and if it has an SSL. So in this case, it makes no difference.
If you think it is a domain hack, like ''hack.me'', then that works for people, not search engines.
From a domaining standpoint, selling a website with a .info will be harder and cheaper than a .com.

It depends on the purpose of your website. If you have a website with a guide or any other information, go with .info.
You won't have any disadvantage by using a .info domain.
If you are selling stuff, go for a .com domain. Just think about the user experience. People usually don't buy stuff from a .info domain.

its a point but because i want to review cctv and also answer people question about cams i think .info has a point
my website title will : cctv prices & setup guide
and also i think my people are so curious about .info than .com
but people interes to but from .com domains also is a matter

Many tests have proven that the TLD extension carries no weight. The Exact Match domain name can be a ranking factor but there have been no conclusive test that I am aware of for .Com/.net.
What another poster said about credibility and authority of the .com is valid.
As a person , when I see .info I think hmmmm. When I see .io I immediately think crypto. When I see .com I assume its a professional website. I hope that makes sense.
It doesn't matter for rankings but could affect your CTR (possibly) and user impression of your credibility.

It does not matter in term of SEO but .com is more trust tld so ppl would think of it more legit than a .info
