Index Problems with Elementor

Hey,

I have massive problems with all the websites I’ve created with WordPress and Elementor over the years.
I’d say I’ve nearly perfected the structure of my website building by now, but I still face a lot of issues with pages showing as “Crawled – currently not indexed.”

Just to test it, I recently created 3 websites using plain HTML. Each has around 50 local landing pages, all using the same text. And all pages are indexed.

On the other hand, for my Elementor sites, I’ve put in much more effort both in the site structure and the content — yet I always have at least half of the pages not indexed.

PageSpeed Insights scores are good: Mobile 90, Desktop 90.

Does anyone have any idea why this happens with Elementor sites?

Yeah, this is a common headache with heavy page builders like Elementor. Even if your content is solid, the extra code bloat and slower initial load can make Google treat those pages differently. Plain HTML loads super fast and is easier for bots to crawl. You could try cleaning up Elementor’s code, using fewer plugins, and improving internal linking. Also, check your crawl budget and make sure nothing’s blocking indexing in robots.txt or meta tags.
