Hi everyone,

i am trying to grow their membership through ads. I’ve seen some advertisers with the "Join Group" option as a campaign objective in their Facebook Ads Manager, but I don’t have access to this feature.

Previously, I used a tool to send invitations to people on Facebook to join my groups, but unfortunately, it no longer works.

I’m looking for a solution to:

- Enable the "Join Group" campaign objective or a similar function in my Ads Manager.
- Find an alternative tool or method to invite people to my groups efficiently.

If anyone has experience with this or knows of tools, strategies, or workarounds, I’d greatly appreciate your help!

Thank you in advance for any advice or suggestions.

Best regards,

You can change the button in the ad settings, or when you post an article on the page, select the 3 dots and then select the group.

I see a lot of people using the method of creating attractive videos then pinning the group link in the comment with a call to action and then running ads for that video. You can try it, maybe it's also a good way.

You can run ads with videos talking about the benefits of joining the group, the group's topic, so that people can better understand and join the group.

PROMOTE 1 VIDEO about the purpose of the group's activities, benefits of joining the group, attach the group link and call for participation. Hope this can help you!

Use the "Traffic" or "Engagement" objective in Ads Manager. Link your group directly in the ad description or use the "Learn more" button that leads to the group.

1. The advertising profile connected to the advertising account must be the admin of the group you need to invite
2. The group needs to be set up public to be able to find
3. Change the button in the Ads section

you can try running a sale campaign, set the button to go to group, attach the link to the group as group link

I think this is not a FB group button, but a button created from a sales campaign. When clicked, the link of the group will be displayed, please try it.

I’ve faced similar issues. The 'Join Group' objective isn't always available depending on your account and region. A workaround is to target interests, behaviors, and locations with engaging ads and a strong call-to-action to attract group members. For inviting people, there are browser automation tools, but be careful as Facebook often cracks down on those. Also, focusing on creating valuable, shareable content can help grow your group organically.

You can create a video with attractive content, post an article with a group link and call for group participation.

Enhance your Facebook group advertising by targeting your audience with engaging content and direct links to encourage them to join right away.

"Join Group" ads ain't available for everyone, prob a phased rollout or region-based. Best bet-try boosting group posts or running traffic ads to the group link. As for invites, no working tool rn, but engaging content + cross-promo in related groups helps grow fast.

In Ads Manager, choose the "Traffic" or "Engagement" objective for your campaign. You can either link your group directly in the ad description or use the "Learn More" button to direct users to the group. Promote a single video that explains the group’s purpose, highlights the benefits of joining, and includes the group link along with a clear call to action encouraging participation.

you can try running a sales campaign, put a button to join the group, you can put the group link in the description and keep the group public so people can easily search and see what's inside the group
