Till about a month back, clicks data for our site followed the impressions data very closely. Then something happened - impressions are improving, but clicks are not. How do I go about figuring out what the issue is?
Any help/pointers will be greatly appreciated.

check the average time they spend on the page and bounce rate, could be bots visiting your page

The total number of impressions has increased, which led to an apparent decrease in the number of clicks. This is the same graph as in previous months. The number of clicks and impressions are proportional as before. It's just that the graph has increased due to the growth of impressions.

Check with this - https://www.contentpowered.com/blog/high-impressions-low-clicks/ - It shows you How to Fix High Impressions and Low Clicks on Search Console with more detailed .
Impressions are heavily dependent on the results page, but clicks are dependent on the rank position. If you show up on page one of the Google search results, you're getting all of the impressions for the search. It doesn't matter whether you're in position #1 or position #10; the same number of people are landing on that page of search results, so the impressions are the same.

Hope this helps !

That helps. Here's what I would like to do -
1. Find out pages that had maximum impressions
2. Find out these impressions were for which search terms/keywords
3. Focus on these pages to move their SERP up.

Is there a way to do the first two things in the search console?

optimize your titles. check the competition and them make it somewhat more attention grabbing.

Did you maybe add some new keywords to the site recently? As that could be one of the causes for such a high number of impressions, as they could have got a lot of views but as they are nee, they maybe didn't get the chance to attract so many clicks so far. You should also check bounce rates and average session durations inside of the analytics as here you can get some data about how much time users generally engage with your content and you can adjust your strategy accordingly for enhancing the clicks numbers as well.

Check for you SEARCH INTENT

Usually, low search intent matches have a HIGH IMPRESSION count with matching high bounce rate

You can do both 1 and 2 in the Performance tab in GSC:
1. Click Pages below the graph -> Click Impressions on the far right to sort from high to low
2. Click + New above the graph -> Click Page... -> Select Exact URL -> Paste an URL from step 1 -> Click Queries below the graph
