Hello guys,

I don't know where to post this
btw I have this in my mind for long time

what will happen if I use the same imei on couple phones ?

calling in different phones with the same imei !?
or calling someone has the same imei number ?
will it work ?

Will it have any violations from the government?
because I read that it is forbidden to change imei number
in some countries


And I think you need to root the android phone to change it
I am not really not into rooting so idk anything about rooting
positives and negatives things

and is it possible to change imei on iPhone ?

The IMEI number has nothing to do with telephone calls to a certain other number. The call is made only to us who owns the number we are calling.

From what I know, the IMEI number is only an identification number, therefore a unique and non-repeatable key.

yep I understand that the problem is
sometimes I visit turkey and they ban the phones for using the network after 3 months from entering turkey
you need to pay for registering the phone to use it and that will cost you alot

and the phones in turkey so much expansive to buy

I searched how can they ban the phones
and I figure out they ban the imei number

I am thinking of buying the cheapest phone that is registered and change my imei
on my main phone to it

so I can use my main phone

Changing the imei to a phone might get you to jail. It is highly illegal, as far as I know in Europe

Hi from Turkey

Yes, if you don't register IMEI (You have to register with passport, paid), your phone will be banned from network after a while.

Changing IMEI is NOT LEGAL in Turkey. But there are many people doing this business in big cities like Istanbul. As far as I know, they do it for 150-200 TL. (Legal IMEI registering price: 1800 TRY)
