First, Good day. I believe this is my first Blackhat public post, I've been blogging since 2016, earned once or twice but breaking last year, I lost it all, all thanks to the Big G's(Google).

I am Steven by name, a 21years old Nigerian(Yeah, you heard me right) of a single parent, trust me it ain't easy earning the RIGHT way down here, It's more depressing when you watch folks around you start earning the illegal way and for the sake

of your values and home training, you decide to stay aloft(They are HONEST NIGERIAN YOUTHS, I AM PROUDLY ONE). I have lots of skills, I am pretty good at SEO(I know a lot in it), I've taken courses and read pdf tutorials on Digital Marketing(FB/Google ads, SEM, SMM etc), I know a lot in WordPress(In fact I just got a WordPress verification from Linkedin),

I run an African free music download site(I respect copyrights takedown), I also run a DIY site, my DIY site is similar to WikiHow(Been running for a year and my traffic is just 300 or 200 a day, I know SEO no doubt, but I lack finances to sponsor my SEO projects) I am honest and etc etc

I recently kicked off my Digital marketing career, Woah! I haven't earned shit!! My resume is below.

Please advise me and point me to ways to earn, God knows I am at my breaking point, anything absolutely will help.

You can report your post for mods to help you remove the resume just to stay anonymous.
 
the best way is to start off in whatever small way you can which believe me will get you a steady income a day. 200-300 visitors a day is a nice number of visitors on your blog and perhaps starting from there will get you going
 
Your CV is impressive. I'd hire you if I had any openings :) but unfortunately I don't.

I think you should concentrate on growing the blog thats already getting 300-200 visitors per day. Get the traffic higher on that site and monetize it (ads, affiliate products etc).
 
Just checked your CV. Best to remove it for your own privacy dude.

But from my own agency experience, I usually hire in person staff with a set criteria, none of which you have. For agency employment, we expect to see people with 1-2 years experience minimum working in real life agencies or in digital marketing fields within a job.

Freelancing does not come under the criteria. I see a lot of CVs ending up in my email from users who claim big numbers such as:
  • 120k follower increase in social media
  • 300% profit increase in ecommerce store
Your best bet to break into the industry is to continue doing freelancing on the side, trying to generate an income but focus on getting experience as an intern, or a paid gig within a digital marketing scope, and build up. Within a year, you can apply to an actual firm for a digital marketing job.
 
The best advice I can give is to apply your SEO skills on your own blog to grow it. You can either monetize it or show it as a proof of your skills. If you're looking for a little money, then join fiverr and offer your SEO services. There are guides on BHW that help you start your fiverr journey.

Plus the fact he's not an upgraded member. So by you hiring him you're both breaking forums rules and he's also depriving similar qualified upgraded members who may offer the same services, of a chance to earn money to recoup their Jr VIP cost!

OP, I've removed your resume as it's for your own security and to prevent anyone deciding to try to offer you work.
 
Offer your SEO skills online such as fiverr, forums and etc.

Use the money you make to leverage the sites you've built and slowly build from there.
 
1 Give free stuff to people.
2 Convert the people who signed in for free as paid.
3 Start to Generate your business revenue monthly.

This might take some time but totally worth it.
 
Buddy, keep browsing the Making Money and IM Journey sections.
I am pretty sure you will find something that will make you money within months.

see if there are any affiliate offers on clickbank for which you can promote on your DIY site. if so then link to them and that should serve as instant small amounts of cash.
also apply to ezoic and throw ads on your site. this should also be instant cash.

next step is to write more content and the get the traffic up for your diy site to increase ad revenue

Getting gigs there are hard, Successfully got my Upwork account approved, getting jobs there really difficult, Probably it's because of my location.
