Hey guys! So I made a post in the introductions side, and got little feedback. So I am hoping that here I will find better help! Basically I started my website at about 3 am last night... ( late night probs ) And I have been "working" on it since. I figured if I kept telling myself i'd do it tomorrow or the next day then i'd never end up with a site. I bought myself one year hosting and my own domain. I am in need of guidance now. I have probably removed my WP site completely 5 times now because all I do is start trying to make my page look nice and be able to do reviews for CB, and I end up with some unorganized pos. Do any of you have any tips on starting out? I have experience driving traffic but have never been the one hosting. I have little cash to spare, but if I need to purchase software or anything for my site to be successful, please leave feedback. My skype is scaliywag5 also if you have time to help me through there. I am a personal trainer and plan to promote fitness products AND EVENTUALLY stop CB and only sell my own personalized training plans. Please help!

Well first things first you want your site to look good and have good content. I would put up a work-in-progress or 'coming soon' landing page until your site is designed to your liking. You can google for WP plugins that allow you to do that.

Secondly, driving traffic is somewhere I am new in as well. I'm just starting out my WP site and I am planning to promote it via social media. I think it depends on your niche, but most social media platforms can be utilized to drive traffic to your site. For me, facebook is looking like the way to go; however with your case in the fitness niche I would highly suggest familiarizing yourself with reddit and instagram.

I hope this helps somewhat, although I'm also new to this so sharing information is helpful. PM me if you'd like to help each other grow some more, I'm always looking to make new friends here!

I agree that content is king. Work on getting some high quality content on the site so people want to go to it.

Yes, But I'm still trying to get my website layout to look clean and professional. Once I've gotten my website up and successful, I can write my posts and figure out how to monetize.
