Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think you have the option to a) completely disable ads, b) replace ads with Brave's curated ads, which you'll earn BAT (their crypto), as well as donating BAT to the page curator (their Youtube, website, etc. They have to sign up for this which many have already), or c) keep all ads shown.
 
Why would you use something like brave (which is just about as bad a adblockplus). Just use firefox+ublock origin+noscript and you'll have no ads and no lag.
 
Brave is created by co-founder of mozilla and javascript (not just firefox). And i don't think he'd leave mozilla just to create a new browser. There might be some core value changes (in pressure of google). Same like what facebook done with IG and whatsapp and their founders left their own products.

Yeah lol, it is quite ironic. I used to have an adblocker on most of the time but now I like to see ads or be spammed with popups (unless I'm watching a movie)

He was forced out of Mozilla because of his personal views, that's why he created the Brave browser.
 
I use it on PC but can't do everything I want with it. So also have to use other browser, also some sites won't load as planned
 
Did you get any BAT tokens so far? Maybe after a century it would become as valuable as bitcoins .
 
But the referral program is kinda fake. I haven't got a single penny since 5 months even after 13 referrals.
 
This is another chrome, what you see any improving this one?
 
I already love it dumping Chrome. Chrome was heavy it oftenly froze when i opened many tabs, i could literally feel my laptop BREATHING as i kept opening tabs. Brave forever
 
I have tried Brave for a few days. It's much better than Chrome and Firefox.
 
I was not using it so unable to provide more details. But I have heard that people are speaking having huge problems with Firefox. It might be that owners are planning to drop this browser and replace it with Brave?
