It claims to work x7 faster than chrome for mobile. I haven't tried it on mobile but I'm definitely going to install tonight. Just trying to experiment my life without google.

First I installed Brave to use metamask and play crypto kitties long ago.
However, definitely, Brave never hangs or slows your activities down.
Plus, it's totally an anti-chrome, so making backlinks are also safe and effective from this browser :)
 
i have no problems with chrome......so i dont want to change
brave have addon support?
 
Tried months ago, I would say it sucks a lot, a ton of crash on Windows, and their forum also reported this, so ditched it.

But I respect the founder very much, very very much, he is one of the pioneers on Internet, the another one is WWW founder.
 
I discovered Brave about 6 months ago and I use it with Arch Linux. I feel that it's an excellent alternative.

Yup, it's built on chromium so you can basically add any extension you want.

You may turn on the ads whenever you wish :P If you're concerned about your privacy, then its something that you should definitely look into :)
 
Chromium is also a great alternative if you need google extensions.
Ive been using duckduckgo for two years now, the simple fact that you can set a black theme on it is just amazing.

Brave is great but it has a long way to go before I will use it daily. Lacking a ton of functionality
 
Looks like people are also loving it on this forum. Gotta give it a try.
 
I haven't used it in a while, and its a lot better now. It feels faster than chrome even though I'm running both AdGuard and Disconnect on chrome to save some bandwidth. I probably will transition over to it, and keep Chrome for Amazon Mturk since its a more supported browser.

I see you are still into crypto with the mention of metamask:) Are you still hunting bounty? Are there still genuine ones? with the decline in btc price i dont check anymore so just curious
 
But does it have an option to sync crossplatform. Because the only reason why I am keeping chrome is, because if I bookmark something on my phone I can later open it on my desktop/laptop and vice-versa?
