Hello,
I need some help regarding web hosting.
I am currently hosted with AlexHost, but I’ve realized that they don’t provide full protection against all legal requests. They protect against DMCA takedown notices, but when it comes to requests from INTERPOL or EUROPOL, it seems less effective. Additionally, although I made an "anonymous" payment, my IP address is collected upon login, which compromises privacy.
While reading some threads on forums, I understood that it’s better to choose a host located in a region already in conflict with the United States, Europe, etc., such as Russia.
Some mention VEESP, which has servers in Russia but is based in Latvia. My question is: Is it reliable? Since their headquarters is in Latvia, could a legal authority exert pressure on their center in Latvia to obtain information from their servers in Russia?
If anyone knows a good host that does not comply with legal authority requests, I would appreciate any recommendations.
