I'm looking for a an email scraper for facebook and web, suggestions?
I looked at all the videos with their scraped email screenshots and they are are B2B emails. 90% are gonna be small businesses that I don't need access to or are unlikely to be able to spend any money.
So the problem I see with all these (expensive!) email extractors is they ALL can only scrape what is essentially B2B emails that are pretty easily scrapeable after doing the 'Automate The Boring Stuff' course. (Which, if you don't know python, is totally worth getting. And it's free on udemy for another few days). And if I did need access to these emails, I would scrape them myself.
What I actually need or want is the email addresses of forum users.
Say there's a web forum that caters to 'organic cat toys' (whatever the heck that would be), I need the email addresses of those forum members. You don't need the email addresses of a random 'CEO', who spent $10.95 on free cards from vistaprint for some crappy business cards, who also 'owns' some $14.95/mnth shopify store who is also selling 'organic cat toys' -he or she isn't going to buy your 'organic cat toys' because those people are your competitors.
I'm going to repeat that for clarity:
You don't need the email addresses of a random 'CEO' of some shopify store who is ALSO selling 'organic cat toys' -he or she isn't going to buy your 'organic cat toys' because those people are your COMPETITORS.
Unless your business is B2B drop shipping 'organic cat toys' or selling email extraction software, or another SaaS.
(To be fair, maybe my products aren't really inline with what many here are trying to do and if B2B email address scraping is fit-for-purpose, then you guys and gals are in a good spot!).
Anyway, that's a key part of any advertising / marketing, blackhat or whitehat. You need to reach your customers, not your competitors.
Unfortunately, the time where one was able to easily scrape forums for emails has long passed. And none of these expensive packages are able to do that any better than I would with some python and a few proxies.
