IG NEW UPDATE [GHOSTING]

Recently, I noticed huge drop in follow back ratio and also clicks on my links. So I went and followed my own personal account. Clearly I didn't got any notification on my primary account. I think IG has started ghosting certain accounts, so that people who you follow won't get any notification. Has anybody facing this issue lately?

Yes i noticed this too.. i am pretty sure that one of my three IG accs got ghosted somehow in some ways, my engagement dropped also hard on this acc, i have 6000followers and only 40-60 likes each picture, on my other acc in same niche i get 140-170 with same followers.
Also i get 50% less followers each day since a week or two on this account..
 
Ye used to get 300+ follows a day and now barely 100. Something is up
 
same here. it happened to me a couple weeks ago. I had to re authenticate my account using the mobile authentication to get it back.
 
Why are you still wasting time on IG OP? The moment you add any link you will get ghosted. I think only a couple of big domains are whitelisted. Example, another IG link/ facebook fanpage link. Even youtube link get ghosted nowadays. What facebook is trying to do is to prevent marketer from using their platform to get free traffic. Thus they want to control all external links. You can link to your fanpage link but on the fanpage itself if you place external links that have been reported (user reports) as spam, your domain will get block.
 
Some useful info most people don't know:
When outlier behavior is detected the IG API can respond to either like or follow requests as "Success", doesn't mean your like or follow was done successfully, is just a way of tricking bots.
This "outlier" behavior started to be detected by the use of proxies in the last 2 weeks. Basically if you're using proxies (only bots need the use of proxies) for your account activity you're fucked.
 
I got the drop in follow back too. But when i followed my Personal acc, I still got the notification. So I'm not sure if my account is shadow banned.
 
I have also noticed that 3 days ago, my follow back rate dropped from 20% to 4-5%. Something happened.

They launched new tracking system with a neural network. It's not enough to just use private API. Modern IG Bot should bypass their tracking system to avoid the ghosting and ban.

Because I code my own bot. IG use logging API to log every request. They analyze user behavior by many factors like Google Analytics and imagine if your bot doesn't send logging requests at all. Of course, their neural network understands that account is not controlled by a human.

Yep, that's right. :) Mine doesn't send any of those requests, maybe that's why I also noticed my accounts getting ghosted.

you think ninjagram its the good option for now ? bc he works like some one how do the follow/unfollow not the bot

I was going to say this same thing. I also think it depends on the longevity of your account. Accounts that have been with Instagram for a long while are able to post links just fine. I think some of these IMers are moving too fast. In a manner that just isn't normal, human-like behavior. They open an account, post links, and start using a bot to spam comments... all in one day. Flagging the system.
 
Do accounts that DON'T have links added work normally - meaning not getting ghosted when following?
 
On one account I noticed my manual comment was ghosted. example: Account X comments on personal account, and only Account X can view it on Firefox/FoxyProxy or mobile phone (over multiple days with cache cleared each time), but its invisible to Personal Account.... the comment was very neutral too, like "love the green trees in this photo, looks like a jungle..." etc... Account X previously had a like-block as well. so theres definitely some weirdness in IG now... I even tested my personal account following Account X and vice-versa... still didn't change the ghost comment. Anyone else noticing this?

Ah shit, this is one thing I was afraid of. The user doing the like/follow/comment see the request go through, but user receiving the like/follow/comment gets no notification or even know it happened.

The biggest issue lies with the human reporting of spam behavior. From my understanding with my friend who worked in Facebook Singapore Office, Facebook takes user feedback seriously and that includes IG too. Example, if a post receive 10 comment and your comment is being flagged as spam, facebook has an automated system to compare statistically between all 10 comments for the ratio of spam complains for the current comment and past history of commenting. The moment you are detected by the system, it triggers ghosting so that you cannot affect other users experience of using IG. This system is very sophisticated as it relies alot upon human input and combining with user activities statistics, there is no way to fool the system without high cost involved (more accounts, proxies, lesser account activities).

Even aged accounts are subjected to this system of check. Unless you have a verified account (https://help.instagram.com/854227311295302)
Verified accounts are subjected to a different type of user category management as IG wants these users on IG since they usually command existing following that can be ported to IG.

Account still get ghosted without link. The moment you try to follow more than 20 within less than an hour period based upon my latest check using followliker you get ghosted.
