See image. My site was down. What I do for that issue.
You are exposing your domain
remove it.

I moved several sites and I had no loss in traffic, the important thing is to add the new property on google search console, to avoid some inconvenience.

I've moved more than 20 sites to https and here are some things I noticed:
1. In more than 2/3 of sites I've noticed small increase of rankings (1-2 positions in about half of keywords). Other keywords remain positions and only few (less than 5% experienced 1-3 positions down).
2. For Wordpress, the best way is to install Really Simple Ssl plugin, he'll do all Seo redirections and keep link juice.
3. Some of sites experienced drop of rankings after moving to https, and then recovered to previous positions in 4-6 weeks later (1 of 5 sites)
4. Some sites lost their rankings after moving to to https (2-4 positions in average), and never recovered (1 of 10 sites). It is obvious that G is re-evalute each page (or moving to another way of calculating page value/rank) after switch.

In short, you have about 60% of chances that you'll notice some ranking improvements, 80-85 % that you'll not lose any rankings, and 10-15 % that you'll lose some positions after installing SSL, good luck :)

If I remove HTTPS and it will fix that issue?

It does, but you usually recover fairly quickly. I have always had no issue, but as others said, it's better to do from the start.

Take a look at your site name on top left, it still search console property for http version.

If you switch to https (also from non www to www ) you need to add new property on search console and re-verified.

Here is a guide from Google :

Resubmit sitemap, cards and other configuration on httpsproperty

How many days update HTTP to HTTPS from google search result
if you are using 301 redirection based then as per my experience google will auto update and might be ranking will never disturb but in case of backlinks this is dangerous and google may take more than 5 to 6 months to re crawl

You told, Remove my site from Google webmaster and readd?

My site is 3 months in and it still down 30%

And yes I did do all the correct steps ( 301, canonical, sitemap, wms, analytics).

Google treats it as moving to a new domain sometimes... so yeah if that happens you just gotta bite the bullet.

Sorry for my brevity BHW won't let me post the info you need :/

just add new property / new web on search console for https version of your sites .. you can let http version just like now ...

search console only work with spesific url that you add so when you add http version of your site and then change to https, you need to add https version too
