So many haters lol, read the thread, I in no way say im a seo expert I was a office slave working from home reviewing pages based on the guidlines they gave me. Alot of this stuff is common sense they didnt teach me how to use ultimate demon or gsa or if an expired domain was better then established domain nor did I look at that or the link profiles of any pages. I say again i am intermediate about now at seo and searching my old posts your not gonna find any secret sauce actually youll find me asking things like "what is a pbn" up to a few years ago. I did work for them for a year, this is real information, I am starting to question now why I posted lol.

Sorry mate, maybe I am being a bit harsh but when I saw the thread title "I Was a Google Manual Site Assessor for a Year. Learn Everything I know." I was expecting something a little more in-depth.
 
OP, I sure can say one thing without doubt. You've caught the attention of a lot of peeps on here. Some will hate you, push you to the edges and then a few will take your words of wisdom into account. What matters is you've taken the time to write a guide which you believe will benefit others. Now, that attempt alone is noble and praiseworthy.
 
Sounds believable but not yet there... something ain't adding up. You seem to have been already on the run before posting this, Was the NDA too scary that when you resign they would come for you? You vanished and changed your identity for this? Since you are under a palm tree now where Google can't find you could you share the bit of scary NDA?
 
I was also expecting some cold hard truth about something some fuck me sideways fact... but thanks?

thank you for sharing your insights , Google has been fine with my sites since i never use any blackhat methods, at least not on my main domain lol .. and i have it registered in google news, plus i don't really count on " google search " any more, i am happy with social media traffic, with some pages, between 40 K and 2.7 M.
 
OP was a "search engine assesor" doing various "SxS" or "side by side" evaluations and offering up ratings based on the "Raters guidlines" published by google in association with whatever agency the OP worked for (as in they did not work directly for google as would be implied)

The job the OP did has nothing to do with "manual reviews". Every "Rater" knows this.

The "raters guidelines" and a lot of what the OP implies, is very interesting, and a very valuable read, but OPS job was not the same as what is implied (manual review team)
 
sorry let me re-phrase that, having read the OPs thread thoroughly;

the information contained within the
"local rating guidelines"
"Side by Side rating guidelines"
"page quality guidelines"
"mobile needs met guidelines"

all of which the OP should be familiar with, are very useful documents for anyone in SEO (you really cannot EAT enough of this good stuff!)

all I meant was the OPs job was not the same as the spam team or the real quality control team associated with matt cutts or anything glamourous like that.

perhaps the OP would like to share some info pertaining to the guideline documents I mentioned?

Any affiliate site reviewing a product that they havent actually tried, should be heavily penalized imo.
 
Now i know why some shit is ranked while some good stuff is penalised just because there are some affiliate links

I think most of us understood that, but what he posted is a bunch of lame shit. The thread title is "learn everything I know" and then he posted the dumbest shit I've read on here in a long time. And I've read some really dumb shit on this forum every day.
