Time and time again I see Amazon come out of nowhere and get rankings for high comp, high traffic volume keywords, with no backlinks and zero pr and poor onpage seo.

I am beginning to think would it be easier to make a physical product based around my keyword, get it manufactured in bulk in China and sell it through Amazon than it would be to wait months and months (maybe years) even just to get to No. 10 on Google with my own new site.


Seriously considering this...

Advertising with Amazon is like doing a JV...

They have the ranking .... the traffic... and the NAME to them.

you provide the product..

and they only keep 10% of it....

think about it... its actually a good deal....

Thats a great idea! Its all automated aswell, so as soon as you get the product listed on Amazon, you just sit back and enjoy the $$$

Yeah, it doesnt even have to be a physical product, I just realised. i can just make a decent (kindle) ebook with my url in the footer.

Fuck getting sandboxed and the usual hoops you have to dance through to get some Google love....

Yeah but, I could build thousands of links daily with less fear of getting sandboxed seeing that Amazon is a trusted authority site, well compared with a brand new domain anyways.

I dont know what is your product, but buying from china is really a pain in the ass unless you have the contacts there. But if there is a profit to be made (buying, returns, shipping, fees) go ahead!

Amazon gives a very lower commission on selling but It makes a huge traffic and selling. Thus most of the people go for Amazon. However now I'm enjoying EWA and it's really awesome.

We are always talking about making profits


But I was thinking of getting the ebook made and then sold very cheaply with my site url in the footer.

The site URL I was trying to get ranked in the first place.
