I've been laughing so hard for 15 minutes straight. Asif, you are man.

Anyways, yeah I know a few guys who got hit hard after experimenting with Fiverr. But I also know a guy who seems to be doing quite well and swears by Fiverr. I guess it all depends on your setup and choices there.

If something seems too good to be true, well, it is. My advice for anyone reading this is to use Fiverr only for filler content - all other services are true bullcrap, unless they have some gig extras. But even then, chances are you'll just burn your money.

You used fiverr-seo for your main money site/s? You could've asked for advice at least. Now have you checked where some of those back link are coming from? Someone on fiverr might have killed your site for good.... I hope it's not the case though, but you'd definitely know in a month or so.

Crappy untargetted links from Fiverr will boost your Citation Flow but lower your Trust Flow, which means that your website will look spammy in the eyes of Google.

Focus on building quality links in your niche and avoid building untargetted links. If you do this, you will boost the rank of your website.

1 good quality link is worth more than 100 links from crappy, untargetted sources.

OP should probably learn before acting. SEO is a serious game and one mistake can ruin your efforts!
If I were you, I'd wait and find all the links you got from those fiverr sellers and disavow them.

I'm surprised no one has said this...

If you start building links then you're obviously going to see a drop/dance in the rankings. Page 3 to 4 is completely normal. I have no idea why you're panicking or assuming it's a penalty. Have you never done SEO before?

PS* Fiverr isn't completely bad. If you KNOW what you're doing and you KNOW what you're buying - it can actually save you a lot of money.

I have several churn/burn sites making $20-300/day that were solely ranked using Fiverr. You just need to really do some deep digging or else you're just going to get junk.

I'm waiting for OP to make a post asking if his content is shit bc he's not getting enough traffic, or if he should blast traffic from fiverr to his websites.

To be honest, no. In terms of link building, I have no experience. That's why I turned to Fiverr. I 've got my anchor text, titles, keywords, lined up for on-page seo, on my website though.

Are you saying that a small drop when building links is a normal thing? Maybe this is the case. All sellers I bought from had 5-star review up and down the board.

I've already tried that. The traffic was shit. And it would be considered clickfraud, since I have adsense on my site. So I will never buy Fiverr traffic.

You're meant to see fluctuations if you're building links.

Within how many minutes or hours did the provider gave you all those good bad or ugly back links? Too good of anything very fast would raise flags IF the receiving site isn't already atleast a semi established site...

You're already a pro who can judge who is good or not as a service provider, anywhere for that matter and even on fiverr, you can find golden service providers IMO. On the other hand, less knowedeable or inexperienced people would need to be very lucky to get high quality service providers, especially on fiverr. Hence the chances of his site's position improving in serps looks a bit difficult, honestly. I'd be happy for op if that improvement happens. I know that serp changes, slight or otherwise, happen with seo activity is being in progress, but what if he has received a bombardment of backlinks suddenly, and from definitely spammed to death sites, while his site might not had much activity till for example last week? That's a depressing thought...

Experienced members would at least ask the provider to go it bit slow, and would check what's being provided. Or, the member would get a recommendation from an experienced pro friend as to which provider to choose....

OP, IMO, has shown much inexperience in his stay in BHW, hence others and I could've no confidence in his ability to run his site/s judiciously, at least in his seo efforts. May be I've a wrong impression about his capabilities because of his other posts, but I'd still not want him to lose in his chosen career.

I hope that if OP has made some huge mistake, he should still get a chance to come good....

Fiverr and a good seo campaign somehow doesn't seem to be a good and regular combination, and it may be a rare thing to find especially for those who might not have the ability to understand, at this early stages and when not have peers even like a site like BHW, what's good and what's not so good.

I really respect what you've said.

As far as the link quality... I think it's fair to say there isn't any coming back from this. Sure, if it were one gig, I'd forward a couple of the links and maybe you guys could give feedback on them. But these are 5 gigs ordered we are talking about here. If this goes wrong, not only did I throw $60 down the drain, but I wasted time and effort on a site I had high hopes for. To be optimistic, what I will say is this:

I didn't just pick random SEO gigs. These gigs had 4.9+ ratings, and very little negative reviews in ratio with how many orders they receive per day. One gig had 129 orders in queue! In the descriptions of these gigs, they were supposedly "safe" for all search engines. I guess what I am trying to say, is IF there are effective SEO services being offered on Fiverr, it has to be from these types of sellers. You can't fake hundreds of reviews , with visible repeating buyers like that. I guess that's why I was so tempted.

Only time will tell....

OP - I think you're overcomplicating this.

1. It could very well be a dance. You could very well end up going up the rankings. Or you might drop and stay there. It's only been a few days like you said so stop panicking and give it a few more days / weeks for things to settle.

2. If you've gone up the rankings, nice.

3. If you're still stuck or have dropped further, there is not much you can do except remove the links (very unlikely) OR disavow the links.

There you go, a simple straight forward plan of action.

Fiverr is a central place for lots of SEO noobs to sell services. Now.. take a guess at who uses Fiverr mostly to purchase services...

...... yes, a lot of SEO noobs too.

So don't be awestruck by the number of 5 star reviews they have. Instead, do PROPER due diligence.

- contact the seller and ask for samples
- contact the seller and ask them questions about the service
- etc

Don't just order a gig based on reviews or the # of orders in progress. That really does not mean much at all.
