You remind me of my old viral video, external actually help gain a LARGE amount of suggested views but in exchange of freezing browse feature :) For me i hate suggested views, as you can see, i have nearly no impresison from browse feature but a large amount of suggested views. U can find my post here :D
So basically we are facing a lot of misinfomation that people give us to scare off newbie, and i'm a newbie too. I think i should use community tab to get initial boost :)

Suggested views are actually terrible because they usually come with low CTR. Browse feature has usually a high CTR. That's my experience.

I remember the OP saying that external views should be used for a very short time for the organic views to take over because external views should only be used for the initial bound. Are suggested views not organic views??? Why should they now be feared ? Don't understand anymore...

Yep that's why i hate suggested views, they have like below 2% CTR, browse feature is god of all views
 
We are actually working on a Youtube CTR service at YTGeeks, but I wonder if it's CTR you need, or end-screen CTR (aka full video watch after CTR)? We can do both, but the 2nd thing would be more expensive for sure.
 
Yes CTR already best way for ranking over 1-2 years. Not new currently but most important think about organic ranking.

I think CTR views would hurt your video. Because lets say you make a CTR service with 80% CTR. It will definetly go down after your video gets suggested to organic views and YT algo will think your video performs bad. I actually think going from let's say 10% CTR to 15% CTR is better than having insanely high CTR from the start.
 
BTW, I've seen people say that changing a video's title over and over again is a risk that the algo views it as spam as much as, for instance, Kwd stuffing in the description. OP and the others what d'you think of that risk, in particular for a long term channel ?

I dont think so, i change title like 10 times in 1 day in a single video, when you finaly found a good title, views will increase a lot from being dead => revived
2 days ago i mention i sacrificed a video by changing title to see how it affect other videos, changing it back wont help but you need a new title to revive it, and here's the result. Algorithm starts running again after 4 hours

Somehow i think if you turn off the monetization, views will gain faster, they have their right to put ads even on non-monetization video... just my fact

did see many movie shortcut with robotic voice , they garnering hundred of thousand views. Maybe they are a group exploiting copyright and they are making new channel everytime I view one.
