Hi

I have bought a package with 30 web2.0 and tier 3 back links, the package delivered in OCT 2019, 2 months passed, Google found some back links and anchors, but the SERP is not show in Top 100, all KW is low search and competitive

And the web 2.0 looks good as attached picture, all with 2-3 K tier 3 backlinks too.

I am lost and missed my direction for next steps onward, how should my SEO going ?

Any ideas what is happening ?

hi,

you sure your kw are low competition? its possible to have low searches but high competition.

else;

2 things:

#1 - you bought a crappy package
#2 - you had keywords over optimization

you need more diversity on your link building, it should at least move the needle.

regards

I have the same problem. A very good article optimised very well but due to competition it doesn't rank even in top 100. My competitors using 200+ backlinks for just single post and overall DA of my competitors is 50+ with tons of links from authority websites that's seems impossible to get. But again I don't think this is the reason to not be in top 100 cuz after second page is the hell, I mean there are irrelevant articles and mine isn't there.

all in all, the power of links from those web 2.0 sites is not that powerful, so make sure that the competition is actually low.
I'm not convinced by PA/DA on those web2.0 sites, I will not call them good just because of that metric.
I am sure the actual sites are not really good considering you bought it as a package consists of 30 sites.
How much did you pay for that package, may I know?

What I call good web 2.0 sites?
It has 3-5 articles, unique copyscape passed, with picture, and on the same niche with the money site.
If the money site is about acne, the web 2.0 will be about acne, skincare, beauty, and the like.

Unlike anyone else have already said, any one with 1 eye and half brain would see this is a pretty good and strong backlinks.

You should at least be in top 3 - 5 pages, and if keywords are high - med comp, and second page or bottom of first page if low comp..

Your main job right now to see how many of them are indexed? how many of them are indexed well (all of the web 2.0 posts)? how many are ranking for their unique title and domain name? how many of them are shown on your search console?

This should spot an idea on the problem, do the check and come back with the results :)

What is your anchor text ratio?

I use web 2.0's for branded, naked URL and generic anchors. I don't care what a third party metric says they are worth, Google doesn't give them much value. Same goes for any user generated links link profile and comment links.

There are many factors...

Is the website new? How may webs 2.0? How many posts on each property? How many of the total posts are actually indexed? Do you keep adding more posts? Are any properties ranking on top 100 by any chance? What kind of results are showing on top 100? What types of links are your competitors doing? Is your content good? Is the content on the webs 2.0 relevant?

You must analyze the full picture and try to adjust accordingly, there is no right or wrong answer.

OK,

I have another site, just bought 1M crappy GSA link blast

Now, one keyword (also low competitive) already on #53 google US

I am confused next step, link blast or web2.0 or maybe PBN....................???

One more thing, how about build a PBN from 0

Please give me some advise. Thanks

GSA blasts on tier 2/3, not on your money site IMO. Go with HQ PBNs, guest posts and niche edits.

Recheck the DA of those web2.0s. You shouldn't expect any move if anchor where generic or similar sort

I never place the link to the money site immediately during creation of the web 2.0 property

Those links won't help you, so stop expecting rankings. If they could improve your rankings, they would have done so by now. Perhaps your website is too new to rank and needs some more age.

How important is your site to you?

Did you blast these GSA links direct to your money site ( if I'm reading this correctly ) or to buffer sites?

@wkcalvin - have you looked into your on-page optimization? are you sure you are at par with your competitors?

i suggest to take a look at pageoptimizerpro or even with this free tool: https://www.keywordsheaven.com/on-page-tool/

personally i think on-page optimization if becoming more important than backlinks....

Web 2.0s alone wouldn't push further, especially these days as it's quite easy to create. Focus on PBNs, if possible.
