[HowTo] Optimize your network for Scrapebox

There is any chance for XP version? A lot of people still use XP. I realy wanna try your advices, but i need now i need better PC + win7...

Right now I don't have intention to write this for XP. However, I may at a later date.

Can i use the settings for VPS on windows 2003?
 
thanks for the information! i applied the changes and i am definitely happy with the new speed.

on a side note, i have a buffalo router with the latest dd-wrt firmware. so far, scrapebox is working well with default connection settings. anyway to optimize this even more so that scrapebox would go faster somehow or have better accuracy?

GunzZ,

The settings in this guide are made for Windows 2008 or Windows 7. You can still use the TCP Optimizer application to make some of the changes found here. By default, Windows 2008 is better setup for intensive network application.

While there are certainly router changes that can be made to improve performance, I don't have any information on this currently.

+2 on a request for an xp version, would benefit a lot of us ;)
 
Really looking forward for Optimized Scrapebox XP version coming out.
 
I just tested my internet speed on VPS (85mbits/sec UL and DL). This should go on the SG Optimizer as well ?

My scrapebox is still slow..
 
This really helped me understand SB better. I'm going to try this now.

Those are certainly false-positives. SG TCP optimizer has a score of 100% within the VT Community as "Goodware". Anyone should make sure to download this application directly from the author's website. I've been using these tools since 9x and are highly recommended within the IT community.
 
Quite a useful guide. Now I have to actually get scrapebox. I should be getting started very soon. :)
 
Just lucky enough to start using scrapebox, I'm such a nerd that it was my anniversary present. This will help me so much thanks!
