So I’m working with this business that made a pretty nice CRM system similar to hubspot but tailored towards retail businesses, ie: if a coffee machine manufacturer that sells their machines in walmarts for example, the CRM plugs into the POS and will give you live data of sales, along with a bunch of other data, which helps prediction and ultimately will help make more sales if used correctly.

The product is really nice and well priced. My question is how do I reach small and medium businesses to pitch them my software solution?

my ideas so far:

- Rank the website for keywords like “crm”. The downside is they’re really pricey and I’m not conviced the conversion rate is worth it.

- Paid articles in targeted newsletters. Pretty sure that’s a safe bet.

- Make a relevant blog and push the articles on Linkedin. Kinda cheap and sure shot of bringing traffic to the site, newsletter signups.

- make a newsletter. Never worked with newsletter except for straight up spam, which won’t work here. I’d need to read some good newsletters and see what kind of content they send out, it can’t be copy/paste from blog.

So my question is, what else can I do to get these sweet sweet leads?

Ps: it’s a rather small software company that’s aiming for the regional market to start with.

Happy holidays blackhaters

Sound like you've been working on a brilliant project lately, interesting OP. But I will let others chime in to help.
