How to stay focused?

    I really try to stay focus but I lose track all the time with so many distraction's, I was wondering what helped you guys with learning whether its SEO or YouTube. Do you have a certain pattern so you dont over work yourself, I often find myself getting lost in all the information.

    Work early mornings. I used to that and I work flawlessly; now I play League of Legends with kids and my life has no-sense. Amen!

    Meditation for more focus and stopping self sabotage... and trust me, unnecessary over-work and getting lost unconsciously in the information is a form of self sabotage.

    Never really thought of meditation, honestly seems like that could really help. I definitely have been sabotaging the hell outta myself lately and that needs to be fixed big time. Thanks for the reply!

    I also need help too, I try and stay motivated then I end up playing dead by daylight with my friends lmao

    Here's how I get a lot of work done and how i stay focused:

    1. Doing the most important thing for your business first. - ask yourself "is what i'm doing right now necessary? will this action bring me my most desired result?"

    2. "Deep Work" in increments - Try the "pomodorro technique"

    3. Take breaks! go for a walk, go workout, do something that takes your mind off work. (This works wonders for me and my peers)

    4. Cut Off All Distractions. (Phone on airplane mode, no social media, no youtube)

    A lot of it really is just a matter of controlling yourself to get the work done and to stay away from distractions. As Jocko Willink says "Discipline = Freedom"

    There's a mural on my gym wall that I think of almost everyday "The mind leads, the body follows"

    You can choose your path: Do the work you know you need to do and feel fulfilled and happy. Or be distracted by these evanescent thrills and live a life of mediocrity.

    Try to work outside from your room, living room or go to outside of your home (library, coffee shop),
    When you are working outside it feels like u are working in a company which can give you more responsability and less distractions.(sometimes)

    This was a great read, I noticed I've been focused on learning 100% and not on actually making myself happy so this is definitely another thing I need to change. Thanks for the reply!

    I live in a very small place with one coffee shop that's always filled but I could try to find some spots. Thanks for the idea!

    Remove sugar, weed, alcohol, porn
    Meditate using an app or learn on youtube
    get your sleep pattern right
    drink more water
    hit the gym

    then think about how to stay focused

    I'll keep that in mind I used to do alot of running, i recently got a new puppy so I'm getting into it again!

    Definitely need to get rid of bad habits and focus on myself more! Thanks for the reply. Since you guys suggested meditating I'm definitely gonna start seems so peaceful.

    Headspace app is really good. That's how I got into it.

    Dont force it just try it and you'll see your mind starts thinking differently

    Yes indeed, this has helped me alot I'm gonna start using a mixture of all the tips and hopefully I get in a clear state of mind for future projects.
