How to stay anonymous when creating/uploading a WP website?

Hey guys. I'm wondering how to keep your anonymity when creating websites? Usually, I'm creating it on a local server and then uploading it on the hosting. But probably it's possible to trace the creator/owner. Maybe you can provide a few key steps on how to stay untraced when doing this? Maybe a virtual machine + proxy or something like that. I understand the basics of anonymity, but mostly for general surfing and not for a website creation/hosting.
