How to spend a big budget on SEO?

Guys / Girls give OP a break, the all idea of this forum is for people coming here asking questions and learn, why do you care so much where is getting his clients to pay him that amount of money.
Maybe his client gave him 10k a month and for OP its consider unlimited, so if you can help him HELP him this forum is all about it.

Everyone telling OP he's not cut out for the job is helping him. Essentially everyone jumping on his back is probably going to save him from pissing off a client with a lot of money. And if the client has a lot of money for something like SEO, imagine his legal fee budget when he sues OP.

Also everyone needs to be razzed from time to time. Keeps you regular and humble, it's like fiber for your ego

People are answering because they are trying to help.

If OP wants professional advice then his question should be on how to rank the keyword and not on how to spend the budget.

Chances are OP is dealing with somebody who has unrealistic expectations, the giveaway is the "Unlimited Budget" quote, no company has an unlimited budget (it is impossible) and it probably means the person is a bit of a clown pretending to be a high flying businessman. No professional/business/company does business that way.

IMO it depends upon the project, some people with great aspiration on their website and they can spend high to rank this.

.

OP, what is your monthly budget?

If you want decent advice you?ll need to give us an idea of what ?big? is?

You guys don't get the question, I'm just asking what do big brands like Coca Cola and Pepsi spend their SEO budget on?
They already rank; they spend their money on advertising SEO, not ranking SEO...

Look at all of the top websites that can rank almost at will.

What do they have in common?

They have TONS of consistent user engagement, lots of daily traffic, and excellent branding.

If you have an unlimited budget, I wouldn't keep it at just SEO.

You're really limiting yourself if you just do backlinking.

And you're totally going to shoot yourself in the foot if you use BHW SEO ranking services (not to knock on the providers).

The one thing I will say about ranking is that you should never guarantee that you can rank the tough keywords.

While you can control it to a certain degree, it is still ultimately up to Google.

Plus it sounds kinda spammy saying you can guarantee a ranking.

Instead, work on driving up their traffic, and more importantly, showing how that increase in traffic translates in a great ROI on their "unlimited" budget.

Best of luck

the thing is that no matter how much SEO you buy at this point you need tens of thousands of highest of HQ links

so it seems like a couple options:

1. run

2. focus on getting the highest quality links possible + large number of PBN links

3. focus on ranking thousands of low competition keywords and hope your client is happy with the results, which will probably be better than just 1 stupid probably brand name keyword that doesn't actually convert

you can probably get some amazing links by either paying for authority news site releases or doing something like offering $500 scholarships or otherwise but I'm not experienced enough to say if things like that will do the trick

ultimately you just need to look at your competitors and see if outdoing them is even physically possible

you should study how to set up a PBN under the radar with relevant content and powerfull sites
but seeing your post im guessing you are not very savy with SEO

To be honest most of the information you need to get ranking is available here on BHW. I've ranked sites with a budget of a few hundred bucks and I'm currently working on one with a budget of a few thousand. Your main costs will be content and links. You can reduce both with an investment of time (writing content yourself or contacting *a lot* of people to get some manual links in there).

To be honest personally I wouldn't work with someone who didn't understand SEO themselves. It's not worth the headache unless they're paying enough.

You can
1 Spend some money on Ranking Services
2 Buy direct links from high PR resources (and other stuff related ONLY to White Hat this is the slowest and expensive method but with good results in future)
3 Buy SEO software and make some black seo by urself

After 1 month to analyze results and then to see where you should invest more budget/time...

When people talk about big budget on this forum, it is mostly about being ready to lose a lot of money trying to rank than actually ranking. Since your clients website is precious and you cannot play trial and error here, you will have to spend money on quality buffer sites and redirect them to their site. You will then have to direct good quality links at these redirects.
