How to rank Review posts?

But have a confusion that how will I rank it in 1 day.
Many big brands posts reviews for these new launched movies/products and ranks in 1 day.
How can I rank it.
It's not like event blogging as we have something to build links to but in reviews we have to build link as soon as possible.

The less the content is written about, the easier it goes up.

for example, new game called borderland 3 - nobody wrote any long form content before the launch, any 'newer' domain will be put on the front page if you push links to it. (Not an accurate example but it works this way)
You have to have the authority in order to compete for terms like that, or just be fast enough.
