Hey guys (I hope I have posted in the right thread) :p

Well let me get straight to the point, I love gaming... like seriously addicted to it.. I am also pretty darn good at all the big titles (Fifa, ModernWarfare etc) & was wondering is it possible to monetize a youtube gaming channel which has daily/weekly shows and huge views & subs?. I know to monetize videos on youtube you need to have unique content and not copyrighted stuff but besides that how else could I monetize my channel if it got huge and do you know any current bigtime youtube gaming channels which make big bucks?.. I would really appreciate some advice or feedback, thanks.

Ultimate Khan. ;)

If you get enough views and subscribers you maybe could become a partner of youtube or you could try cpa offers that focus around the gaming niche

A lot of the people who have big channels like that just go through the Youtube partnership and have adsense ads on their videos. Go with that, it's good money if you have a lot of subscribers/views/videos.

Gaming offers. Like downloadable games. You could say something like "Subscribe and download this free game to support me" and lead them to your cpa offer.

Thanks for the awesome replies guys! I really appreciate it. I have one more big question & that is do any of you guys know the average amount of money you can make weekly if your youtube gaming channel was huge?. Maybe an example of someone's earnings on youtube who is already huge?.

Thanks,

Ultimate Khan. :D

Gaming on youtube is extremely over saturated, you'd have to be doing something very unique or have a good way of advertising your channel in order to get a decent amount of views.

Yes and No. "Gaming" is one of those areas where Adsense and YouTube Channels get banned all of the time, even legit ones. Tons of people having problems with them. As well do you have permission to use those copyrighted games in your YouTube videos? More than likely you don't..

Youtube tends to stick to not monetizing game-play content because of legal issues not really based on copyright but other things. If you don't see ads within 24 hours of submitting the video then they didn't approve it :) If you're looking to make money I would change the subject because mostly Partners can only earn with game-play. Make sure to provide as much information as possible and they barely ever remove a video if it's not approved so don't worry.

Try some cpa offers.. maybe you will have some conversions

Very sexai replys you can haz reps. ;D

I'd use CPA offers if I were you and push email submit offers like Free XBOX 360, Halo 4, GameStop Gift Card, etc. They're tend to convert very well imo ;)

I'm surprised you didn't get accepted into a network. Monetize YouTube by Adsense (like taking a job at Mcdonalds) vs Product Push (Creating a business for a niche). You can do CPA which does great, but you don't need much in the way of games to get popular. A few YouTube SEO tricks and some good video editing (Take into account you might need to do more quality work than Yogs does) and you will be gaining money per day. Think about it, they are setting the standard (along with pewdp). If you aren't up to par with them then steal views by tag stealing from them. Yes it is unethical, but you can still earn chump change if all else fails.

Kevjumba has talked about how he did it. I forgot which video that he posted the link, but its about being a 6 figure?

There are other gaming sites that allow you to stream your gaming. if you generate enough traffic you can make money from the ads.
