How to monetize simple Facebook games

    Hi there,

    I have couple of Facebook games where with 0 marketing involved I have between 300-1000 users daily and more than 12.000 game plays on daily basis.
    I am planing to publish more games because that's my niche and I love making games.

    Right now I don't know since this is not massive traffic how can I monetize my games, because I don't have in app purchases.
    I'm not looking for big money at all but 1-5$ would be enough just to figure out how to get that....

    Traffic is mostly US, Brazil end Europe countries.

    I think that I can easily reach more than 3000 players daily if I decide to stay on this...

    All hints how to make some dollar out of Facebook games which are free to play are more then welcome.

    Well you just answered yourself. Put some in-apps purchases. Should definitely be something.

    Well thank you for your answer, but with this games, that would be big change in game design... Games right now are designed that they are completely free and since they are shooters and puzzle type it's pretty much pointless strategy to add in app purchase....

    Any other ideas how to monetize that traffic ?

    CaptainHammer because like I said the games are really simple, and I would like to keep them in that shape because if I add tokens for sure I will lose users, games are clean easy to use, and that's the main reason for great usability... Users are giving 5 starts to games and since the gamplay is really easy and games are not allowing level up... tokens are totally pointless.

    If there is no other way I guess that in feature I will need to think about monetization right away, but for me looks pretty much impossible that I can do nothing else without changing the game logic...

    you have to think outside of the box. There is 100 ways to include in apps in your games without changing the essence of your game. You can add new themes for example, new designs etc etc. We're not talking about taking back something from users, but adding new functionalities.

    I will do that then on my next game...
    but I don't get it way you people don't get it that this games I mentioned basically do not have literally any space for customization's. I don't track users, don't have user profiles, all what I have is their score and profile picture from facebook together with their public name...

    Skinning the game is a process and on this amount of traffic it will probably cost more then the potential $ which I can get back on skin purchase. For some games key is simplicity... Only way I can maybe motivate them to pay is to limit number of free game-plays to let's say 2 per day and if u want to play more u need to pay but I think that with that strategy I will lose users and will not get any $ ;)

    For me I would like some ads small ones which are compatible with facebook and are interested in this small traffic.

    You will of course lose users, but you will get $. Thats how the business work. you never get money without concesion

    If you are really simple on the games don't bother with in game ads and such. Go for shirts, and other stuff that is outside the game to sell.
