Interviewer Question:

If your CPC is 10$ and your EPC is 5$? It means you will get in loss then, how will you manage?

I am a beginner at Google Ads. But I want to learn and want to get a job as a Google ads executive. Can you guys help me with this question?

You have to optimize both your ad stats and your conversion rate so that you decrease CPC as much as possible while also maximizing conversions. You should also do this as soon as possible because until you do, you'll lose money

How will we optimize our ad stats and conversion rate? What should we need to do?

Divide every data point to smaller group and search for something profitable.

For example - check age and see, maybe EPC for whole campaign is 5$, but for group 18-24 it's 1,5$ and that group eats half of your traffic? Exclude then. Maybe 60+ have epc 20$?
Check everything, man/woman, interests, placements (loots of spam ones/apps/shitty demographic placements - exclude), keywords, match types, ads (maybe one ad has epc 8$ and another one has 3$), hours, day of week, language, device (!), your landers if you use more than one
Search for profit. If you thin on funds don't be affraid of aggresively pausing even large groups of non-profitable-yet traffic, you can always test it later on, when you will be earning. Right now your goal is to stop loosing money as soon as possible. If you on break even - great, increase budget, gather more data, see what's really working on larger volume of data
