To keep your ranking up, make sure you interlink properly.
If several of your pages are ranking really well on Google, create internal links to other pages that are not doing so well.
Try to share that link juice.
The second thing you could do is to focus on the topics of the pages that are ranking well
Do you see a pattern with your most successful pages?
What do they talk about?
How are they written?
What kind of user engagement or experience do they produce?
Once you have the answers to these information, come up with new pages that are not exactly copies of your most successful pages.
You don’t want to cannibalize your most successful assets, but you want to use them as sources of ideas for themes that you could write on.
Once you have these new pages up, pay close attention to them
Are they getting the same kind of success as your high-traffic pages?
If so, then repeat this process.
If not, then you made a mistake somewhere.
Maybe you didn’t quite focus on the right subtopic of sub-theme—try again.
But, once you start seeing success, you will get into the habit of “cloning” your most successful pages.
Don’t just sit back and let your website develop a lopsided traffic profile
Many websites get a lot of traffic but when you analyze them, it turns out that less than a handful of pages account for 80% of their traffic.
That is a sure ticket to failure, later on.
As you probably already know, Google is very flaky.
You can’t count on it to send you consistent traffic.
So, be sure to spread the risk around by trying to “clone” your most successful pages.
