The is a plugin called Swift Performance. It is the best in terms of optimizing speed for website. You should try out.

Like people already suggested... go for AMP, CDN, reduce images, css etc load. But always remember... user experience is on the top of priority. It happens many times that in an attempt to make the site load fast, we start compromising with the user experience. For example... AMP can boost the mobile loading speed like anything but many times it breaks the way of information presentation which may lead to lesser user engagement and may even provide a bad user experience. So, make sure to give first priority to the user experience. For sure... fast page loading provides better user experience but what is the use of it if user doesn't feel good about the website once it open.

I am having the same issue. I am using a page builder which probably slows it down a bit. We will be looking into implementing AMP and hopefully it doesnt cause issues with the page builder. If it does there is also a page builder compatible plugin. If this works will update this, time to experiment

Check your website mobile friendly score in the following link: https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/, clear the suggestions shown by this tool.

Search PageSpeed Ninja on wordpress plugins, install it and as prefferance choose Optimize.

This one had a huge impact on my site speed.
