Those are good questions. All of my articles are original and written by me, so that's what I used to get approved for Adsense.

If you want to shell out the money, you can try purchasing articles instead. There's nothing in the Adsense policy I'm aware of that prohibits this (just that your content needs to provide value to your visitors) and I remember reading about a few people who did this, although I'm sure there are many more.

If you don't have the funds to buy articles or the ability to write them, I suppose spinning them is fine so long as the spun content makes sense. However, I haven't tried that myself, so I can't vouch for spinning articles for an Adsense site.

I'm not sure I understand your question. If you're asking why Adsense hasn't responded to your application, normally when you apply they send you an email telling you to log into your account so that you can place the ad code on your website (these display blank ads) while they review your website. If for some reason you missed the email, then this could explain why you haven't received any further communication from the Adsense team.
 
Nice guide, although I have to say that at least in my case the number of articles site appealing and content had nothing to do in getting approve, I didn't even had privacy policy and TOS (I added it today to play it safe), I have 2 adsense accounts beside my main account, for those I just installed a fresh WP, created two 2k post (copy/paste from wikipedia), submitted the sites and got it approved in less than 2 week, I didn't even changed the theme (2015), only thing I did was set the number of post in front page to 1.

I must admit it was either luck or just an automatic revision because to be honest I didn't believe it would be that easy, or who knows maybe I was reviewed for a "good guy" jejejejejeje.

anyway thanks for this thread I for sure will implement some of your tips since I doubt I will have that luck again.

Yeah, some people have an easier time getting their Adsense application approved than others. For example, when I applied the first time, my application was rejected the for not having contact information and because there weren't enough pages or something like that despite the site having around 20 unique 500-1500 word articles (I added 30 more before I reapplied) in addition to several different pages. On the other hand, there are people like yourself getting approved for Adsense with even less content than I had. Because of that, this guide is more about improving your chances of getting approved rather than a list of imperative actions.

I saw that many put the privacy policy, contact us , about us on the main menu on the header. Is that a must ?
Can I put it at the footer?

I am not trying to get approved by adsense, because I have a good standing account with them. I am trying to avoid penalties but both google and adsense.

Yes, I usually have my legal pages in the footer and the contact and about pages on the main menu. I've seen sites mix it up before, so I don't think it's an issue.

The only plugin I use is Contact Form 7 for the contact page. The legal pages are created using templates and generators (read part 1.3 of my guide) and the about pages are written entirely from scratch.
 
great guide, bookmarked, you'll never know when this come in handy

i still have my untouched Adsense account from 6 years ago, which i got through a revenue sharing site called indyarocks, i didn't even set up a website to get the account :)
