...In a form of chargeback via my Mastercard. 60 days have not yet passed since my purchase but they are about to. Do I have to contact my bank or Mastercard? Has anyone done the same yet and has a copy of the writing? Maybe it will be helpful for the rest of the people on here wanting to do the same but have a hard time phrasing and describing what actually happened.

Thanks a bunch!

I purchased it via PayPal. I called paypal and they settled everything for me in like 5 minutes. I'm getting my money back in a few days.
I would say tell your bank to refund the purchase

You have 180 days and sometimes longer to file a chargeback with your Credit Card company such as Mastercard. Simply call the customer service 800# on the back of your card to file it. They will immediately take it from their Paypal and give it back to you before launching an investigation you will ultimately win.

if it was paypal it would be much easier.
Mastercard you will just have to wait it out

Guys, i bought FL long time ago....does it still work to chargeback? or its too late?
if you purchase it via paypal you have 180 days
if it passed with some days you can try your chance
else i don't know

putting a chargeback through is pretty low, as the developer gets charged a $20 fee for the refund to go through. Plus you need to commit fraud to do so to say it was unauthorised which is false.

go through paypal and at least that way the developer doesn't lose money

$20 is nothing for liars, scammers and those that do not cooperate in order to offer a logical solution that would be viable for their customers.

I have exactly 1 more day left (considering the 60-day chargeback policy for mastercard) since i bought it in June. I have of in fact already contacted paddle and told them I would really like their refund more than me going to the bank and make things complicated for both sides. But I hope you don't expect me not to file a chargeback tomorrow if I don't get a reply by then and blindly trust I'll get refunded by that greedy A-hole. However, I respect your opinion since you're a developer yourself. Maybe you could try putting yourself in the shoes of people who bought his software just a month or two ago and havent made a dime from it yet.

I filed an online claim a couple of days ago and today received a denial from PayPal. Can you share the number you called and maybe specifically how you worded the claim?

EDIT: I did call paypal and they had the claim coded incorrectly, so I am hopefully getting a refund next week. The claim is now stated as "product received was not as described" whereas before the claim was something else. Below is from Paypal:

We have reviewed all the details of your claim. Based on the information we have to date, we will have to deny your claim. This decision was made because your billing dispute doesn't match our qualification for a billing dispute.
If you have any additional information please send it to us

DON'T TELL THEM THAT YOU USED IT! Or else you won't have Buyer's Protection and they will close the dispute

Update. Was at my bank today, they didn't know shit and had to call the bank manager, etc., but somehow we managed to come to an agreement and they opened a dispute for me, which will get processed by the Mastercard system. The lady at the bank told me that the deadline for reclamation is 60 days from the day of the purchase. Which was exactly today. Just for information, to whoever said above that I have 180 days. But then again, they didn't seem to know much about this sort of thing so they might have been wrong. Will keep you updated how the dispute went.
