How to generate qualified leads for a software development agency?

After reading your post I've done more work in the last 2 days than I have in ages.

Fair play to you and your hustle.
That's what it's about! Make sure you surround yourself with individuals who also think big. Nothing worse than being bogged down by people whose visions don't align with yours.

A little update on the status of our outreach efforts

We have decided that we're going to use Salesforce as our CRM (not close.com) because of how incredibly powerful Salesforce is. My favorite aspect on the software so far is the ability to create custom objects. This allows me to build my own object based around the exact metrics and data I want to store.

For example, I could use a custom object and create all the fields necessary to keep track of our UpWork proposals. We can then analyze the data by looking at different metrics such as how many we sent out every month, how many converted, which scripts were used on the ones who converted, etc. it's extremely powerful.

Second,
We're in the process of redesigning our website over to Wordpress so we can start pushing out content on our site and develop our SEO over the course of the next 6 months or so. Content is king and we need more backlinks, features, collaborations, etc.

Finally,
We haven't yet implemented any tools like Mail shake because i'm still working on our email sequence templates, however this is very difficult to master. Consider it the equivalent of going up to a girl in a bar and knowing the right things to say to get her to go out on a date with you.. It all starts with that first message and takes a ton of well-planned strategy to turn those leads into prospects.

I have a friend who specializes in writing copy and marketing and he's been giving me some sound advice on some things I can do to get more leads and prospects. He said he couldn't tell me much about this software dev agency he's working for now, but he said after they hired him he's helped them up their revenue 10% MoM (Month over Month)

I mean all it's going to take at the end of the day is a lot of hard work. However by taking a calculated and well thought approach could be the difference in seeing results in 1-2 months vs. 5-6+ months.

Cheers!
