How to analyze competitor on page strategy

First, we can use the tools provided by the search engines themselves, such as Google AdWords' Keyword Planner and Baidu Index, to understand the keywords chosen by competitors on the search engines. These tools can provide information on the search volume, competition level and relevance of keywords to help us determine which keywords have potential.

Secondly, we can search for competitors' websites through search engines and observe their rankings in the search results. We can search for keywords to see how our competitors' websites rank in the search results and find out which keywords they rank higher on and which ones they rank lower on.

In addition, we can also use some professional competitive intelligence tools, such as SEMrush and Ahrefs, to analyze our competitors' keyword choices and rankings. These tools can provide more detailed data, such as competitors' keyword coverage, ranking trends, etc., to help us get a more comprehensive understanding of competitors' SEO strategies.

use a SEO tool like Ahrefs of Semrush (or other cheaper options if you can't afford these 2) to analyze the competition, and then do what they did, but do it better.

For example, if their content is 400 words make your content 500 words....

Or if their content optimization score is 94 make yours 95...

Or if their page has 32 backlinks from 11 RDs try to get the exact same 32 backlinks from the exact same 11 RDs if possible, but then add 2-3 more backlinks from 2-3 more RDs of the same quality as your competitors...

Just analyze what they did and do more and better :)

I should also point out that if your competitors' sites have higher authority than yours you will need to improve your site authority as well. Authority usually means DA / DR, which translates into backlinks, but that's not all. Authority can (and oftentimes does) also mean lots of indexed pages, lots of ranked keywords, aged site and content, etc. So, you need to analyze the living crap out of everything and try to mimic what they do as much as you can, and then do better than them...

Something else you could do is check whether they're running Google Ads. If they do (and you don't) you will probably never outrank them because google favors those who give them money, but if they don't run google ads and you do you might be able to outrank them without stressing about quality content, backlinks, etc...

Oh, and more thing: check their social media presence and if they're active on social media you might want to replicate or you might be left out...

Seek backlinks from relevant and authoritative sites in the packaging industry. Guest posts, partnerships, and resource pages can help. Regularly track keyword rankings and adjust strategies based on analytics.

just input the URL into Ahrefs / Semrush and they'll tell you
After checking everything as told, this is the result.

What can I do now? Everything about our web page is better than that of competitors.

An understanding of competitor analysis provides insight into the marketplace, but care needs to be taken with competitor identification and the limitations of the results.

these links are garbage, you can do better if that's all they have. But if they have hidden PBN links... well, it will be much tougher,

Anyway, I don't know what you can do, sorry, but I'd have to do a full site audit and competitor analysis, which is more than what I can do on this free thread, so you'll have to do these yourself or hire someone I'm afraid.

Ok, I understand what you are saying but I am also an SEO executive and I myself am facing this problem while working. If there is any solution please do let me know and thank you for checking it out.
