How much would YOU pay for a professional logo?

Max I spent is 100$ lol. But I heard proffessional logo's cost 250$+.

About $5 on fiverr :) Or you can d/l logo making software from any torrent/black hat site and do a better job yourself. Why would you pay anything at all?

without any doubt $15 if he or she can make professional but catchy logos.

I've payed a pretty penny for them... however the examples you've given above belong on fiver. Anyone can create logos like that using a cracked version of "The Logo Creator" software. I do it all the time. If you can dress them up, make them a bit more custom than you could easily charge $100 bucks.

i dunno, but renowned designers that design logos for the likes of fortune 500 and similar small to medium sized companies charge in the thousands

I'm former freelancer so I do all graphics stuff and hire people to my content so 0 I pay 0 :D

Have used Fiverr for small sites but if I need a real logo for an ecommerce site or something, have a guy who will do a good job for ~$100. He is US based, just a young guy that still works cheap. Most designers will charge $3-500 for logo an multiple revisions.

$5 i can get great designs from fiverr why would i pay anymore?

so long as your good at descibing what you want, or scan a doodle you've drawn its perfect

I've never paid more than $15 for a logo.

I have done logo designs for as little as $50 and for as much as $700.

It depends on who you are dealing with. If it's a corporation with a
healthy bankroll, don't hesitate to hit them with a higher price. But
you had better know your stuff. If they say, "We want this done
as an AI (Adobe Illustrator) file in CMYK with color separation", you
need to know how to do it. However, if you are a "weekend warrior"
who can knock out a decent image for a website or a business card,
you can make $50 if you can produce an adequate design.

Don't market to particular people, if you're serious about graphic design then price at what you think your time is worth. This will help sort out all the serious job offers from people who just want to take advantage of you. Don't undersell yourself.

For new sites, I do it myself, pay cheaply someone from my Skype list, or fiverr it. But on a serious project site, or one that's starting to bank, I'd pay around 50-75 bucks, no more (and although you believe it or not, it does worth it, knowing that the logo is being hand designed, and not just psd edited from a template like 99% fiverr guys are doing it..). That's just how I roll the pancakes..

I look at Graphic design like Coke, Pepsi and Brand X.

Sure, they all taste the same, but I would most likely ask for a Coke, even if they serve Pepsi. I would put up with Pepsi and Brand X as a substitute. However, some people want the real thing because of quality. Hence why I would spend $2 for 2 litters, even thought Brand X tastes about the same and for $1.

There's people who thinks "cheap = inferior" and lucky for us, those are the very people who would look at you funny if you will design a logo for a signal digit number. Those are the type of clients I would want and there are PLENTY of them.

Around 400 to 500 Dollar for online use. If it's for product branding it would be more like 5k$.
